ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Douglas Warner III, former Marine Captain and retired FBI agent, has requested our presence to stand in Honor of their Hero. In Dec 1977 Doug joined the USMC. He attended Officer Candidate School, being appointed a 2nd Lt in Apr 1978. In Apr 1980 Doug was appointed 1st Lt. He was back at Cherry Point, NC. and in Jan 1983 he was augmented to the Regular Marine Corps, where he made the rank of Captain. He was awarded the Pistol Expert Badge, Rifle Marksman Badge, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, (3rd award), Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Citation, and Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal In May 1987, Doug returned to Quantico, but with the FBI this time. In Feb 1988 Doug met the love of his life, who had joined the FBI in 1981. They were married that Nov. A daughter arrived in 1990, followed by another in 1991. Doug has always said that the 2 happiest days of his life were watching his daughters being brought into the world. He was a loving husband and father.

The family will arrive at 10:00am.
Visitation is from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Following the visitation we will escort Captain Warner to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 5876 Veterans Way, Burlington.
At 1:00pm there will be a Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary followed by military honors ceremony outside the church.
Captain Warner will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY. at a later date.
