ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of United States Marine SGT Douglas McArthur Fajardo, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand with them during his graveside services. SGT Fajardo served his country proudly and honorably from June 1963 to June 1967. During his service he was assigned to the 3rd Battalion 1st Marine Division; 1st Battalion 9th Marine Division (Known As “The Walking Dead”) and 2nd Battalion 9th Marine Division. He served a tour in Vietnam as a Mortarman. SGT Fajardo received the Vietnam Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Combat Action Ribbon; National Defense Service Meal and US Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal.Please join with us as we honor a great American Hero as he receives Full Military Honors.
