ABOUT THE MISSION:
PFC Douglas F. Scott, (10/9/1921-2/7/2021) served in the Army during WWII as a Combat Engineer and was a D-Day survivor, earning a Bronze Star w/oak leaf cluster. After military service, Mr. Scott made a career as a truck driver, both long haul and locally for Darigold. He also worked for LeMay Waste Mgmt. services for 30 years coordinating the disposal of waste from the Puyallup Fair. Mr. Scott was married to his wife, Elizabeth, for 77 years. She preceded him in death last year. Together they raised a family of eight children, (3) girls and (5) boys. One of their sons, Steve, made the request and is a fellow PGR brother.

12:30 pm: RC’s/RCIT/SV arrive.
12:45 pm: Riders arrive, sign-in.
1:00 pm: Mission briefing.
1:15 pm: KSU.
1:30 pm: Establish flag line at designated shelter.
2:00 pm: Service begins.
2:15 pm: (Or end of service), Post and leave quietly to debrief area.
Per current Covid pandemic mandates, all Patriot Guard Riders are required to wear an appropriate face covering and physical distancing will be observed. If you are not able to wear a mask for any reason, out of respect for the family and everyone’s health, please do not attend.
