ABOUT THE MISSION:

Douglas A. Biery spend seven years, four months and eighteen days in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran. During his time in service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; the Good Conduct Medal w/one loop; the Vietnam Service Medal; the Vietnam Campaign Medal; the Expert Marksmanship Medal M-14 and M-16; Two Overseas Bars; the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm; and the Meritorious Unit Citation Cross of Gallantry w/Palm.

Riders brief at 9:45 A.M. and stand flag line from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. during visitation. Service begins at 12:30 P.M. Prepare to depart at 1:15 P.M.to escort to Leavenworth National Cemetery for 1:30 P.M. service at the shelter.
