Elliott\, 61 served for over 11 years as a Journalist in the U.S. Army Reserves. Medals & Awards include; Army Commendation – Army Achievement Medal – U.S. Army Forces Command Fourth Estate Award – 3 / Fifth U.S. Army Minaret Awards For Excellence in military photo journalism.\nDonna comes from a military family\, her brother SSG Jerry W. Elliott\, U.S. Army Airborne\, Pathfinders\, has been MIA\, Vietnam War since January 21\, 1968; her sister also served in the Army\, and rides with the Texas PGR\, Donna’s brother-in-law is Retired Army. SGT Elliott has devoted much of her life searching for her brother. She is the Author of “Keeping the Promise” a book about the event that would change her life forever. In 2010 Donna participated in Rolling Thunder “Run for the Wall” chronicled in her book. Donna is survived by her companion\, a son\, three grandsons\, other family\, friends\, and her dog Wilson.
