ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Donald Ward, US Army, to stand in silent honor for his service and interment.  Donald proudly served during the Korean War from April 1951-April 1954.  Donald received the Korean Service Medal w/3 Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal Over Seas Bars (1), Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan) and the National Defense Service Medal.  After time served, Donald became a member of the Brightwell-Daughtery American Legion Post #484 in Fayette City.
Donald served our country with honor, now its our turn to stand in honor for him.

    Stand down, Mr Ward, your mission is now complete. May your Brothers and Sisters-in Arms from the Korean War welcome you to your eternal home. Rest easy, brave Soldier, we now have the watch! /Salute
