The family of US Navy, WW II veteran,QM3 Donald Roy Rowe has asked the PGR to stand in honor of their fallen hero. Quartermaster Third Class Donald Roy Rowe began active service January 12, 1944 and completed his service with an Honorable Discharge in June 8, 1946. During his active service, he was awarded the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal.
Services will be Saturday, June 11, 2016, 1 pm, at New Hope Baptist Church in Duncan, Oklahoma. Escort and interment will follow at Rest Haven Gardens cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma. The Stephens County Honor Guard will perform military honors.
