The family of Donald, J. Buchanan, Cpl U.S. Army, Korean War Veteran, has respectfully requested the Patriot Guard Riders assist with the services of their loved one by standing A Tall and Silent Flag Line of Honor and Respect, and escorting him to his final place of rest the Hallowed Grounds at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Cpl. Buchanan served with honor in the U. S. Army from Oct 1952 til Oct 1954 during the Korean War and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal.
Cpl. Buchanan also served in the Merchant Marine and served on a ship with his father in Canada.
Cpl. Buchanan leaves behind a son, and a daughter, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a brother, and a sister and many other family members and friends.
