A dedicated employee for the Saratoga Springs City School District\, he  recently retired after 31 years of service as a head custodian. An avid  Jets and Yankees fan\, Donald not only loved watching games with family  and friends\, but he also enjoyed being part of the action by making  calls on the field as an umpire for the Adirondack Umpiring Association. \nHaving a great appreciation for the outdoors\, Donald’s favorite  activities included setting out on hikes with his furry pal\, Sophie\,  snowshoeing\, fishing\, camping\, or just simply hanging out around a fire  with his friends. He had a passion for adventure\, and took any and every  opportunity to go skiing.
