ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Donald E Woodward JR. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders in his military honors service.
Donald proudly served for the United States Army as a 51M10 firefighter. A dedicated employee for the Saratoga Springs City School District, he recently retired after 31 years of service as a head custodian. An avid Jets and Yankees fan, Donald not only loved watching games with family and friends, but he also enjoyed being part of the action by making calls on the field as an umpire for the Adirondack Umpiring Association.
Having a great appreciation for the outdoors, Donald’s favorite activities included setting out on hikes with his furry pal, Sophie, snowshoeing, fishing, camping, or just simply hanging out around a fire with his friends. He had a passion for adventure, and took any and every opportunity to go skiing. Donald was a spirited member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, an international non-profit organization promoting peace, prosperity, and hope.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be there to render Honor, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of PFC Donald E Woodward JR US ARMY.
