The family of Donald Earl Thompson, 81, of Springfield MO, a veteran of the US Army, has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their American hero with a flag line and escort.
Donald Earl Thompson, served in the US Army from January 1955 to January 1957, as an infantryman with light weapons. Hero Thompson attained the rank of PV1, was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, and was honorably discharged.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at the Greenlawn South Funeral Home, 441 W. Battlefield.
Stage: 11:30 a.m.
Briefing: 11:45 a.m.
Flag line: Immediately following briefing
Escort: Immediately following the memorial services for 2:00 p.m. service at the committal shelter, with military honors.
