ABOUT THE MISSION:
SGT Donald A. Tiesler, 70, a US Army Vietnam Combat Veteran from Williamsport, PA, died on 30 July 2018 in Manor Care, in Williamsport, PA. He enlisted in the Army in 1965, did two tours in Vietnam and was wounded in action twice, receiving two Purple Hearts. After his discharge, he became a Police Officer with the St. Petersburg, FL P.D. and retired from there with 26 years service. He was a life member of Bower Decker American Legion Post 251, Montgomery. He is survived by a large and loving family and missed by all. SGT Donald A. Tiesler is to be inurned on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 3 June 2019, at approximately 11:00 am from the Administration Building. PGR has been invited to attend the services by his son and we will be there to stand tall, silent and proud in honor of this US Army Vietnam Combat Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
