ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Don Mackie Howe, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to final resting place. AE1 Don Mackie Howe honorably served in the United States Navy separating from service on April 30, 1990, with a combined active service duty of over 20 years. AE1 Don Mackie Howe received the following awards: National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, fifth Good Conduct Award, Battle “E” Ribbon, and Vietnam Service Medal.
