ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited to escort and stand in honor of Dixie William Howell, United States Air Force Sgt. Dixie William Howell, honorably served 3 years, 6 months in the United States Air Force. During his tenure, he was awarded the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. At the time of his passing, Sgt Howell was 74 years of age.

Special Instructions:
NAS Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained at all times while riding aboard the base. NOTE: Face masks are mandatory and will be in place from arrival at staging until completion of the mission. If you choose to remove your mask while riding, put it back in place when you get off your bike/out of vehicle. Individual hand sanitizer is encouraged. Maintain a 20 ft distance from family and 6 ft minimum between riders. No physical contact between family or guests. At the conclusion of the mission, we will return the flags to the trailer/vehicle and wipe/stow them.

12:30 PM – KSU to Trahan Funeral Home
12:45 PM – Arrive at Trahan Funeral Home
1:00 PM – Roll Time to Barrancas (LEO Escort requested)
1:30 PM – Interment at Barrancas, Site B
