ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Staff Sergeant Ramirez has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his memory and service to our Country by standing a Flag Line at his funeral service, ride with him one last time and stand again at his interment. Diego Armando Ramirez, born in Fort Worth, Texas to Redentor Ramirez and Tomasa Mendez, he passed away June 22, at age 29. Diego Ramirez was a hard working veteran who proudly served 4 years as a United States Marine Corps, embarking on several tours to the Middle East in support of OEF and OIF, to help protect the freedom of our country. He transferred to the United States Army where he served and training future veterans as a staff sergeant for over 7 years

After the Mission Brief, the Riders will establish the Flag Line and await the arrival of Staff Segeant Ramirez’s family and friends. When directed, the Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, receive the Safety Brief and prepare to accompany the procession to the cemetery. Riders not participating in the procession will proceed to the cemetery and assist with setting up the flags Procession Escort Provided

After the Mission Briefing honor bikes will be identified and move to the Hallmark Baptist Church Staging Lane to accompany the procession. Riders not wishing to ride in the procession may proceed to the designated interment site at Laurel Land Ft. Worth Cemetery, establish the Flag Line and prepare to receive the family and friends of Staff Sergeant Ramirez. When directed the Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, be debriefed and dismissed.
