ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Dewey Wilbur Harris, 23, requests the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their Hero who once stood for every one of us. PFC Harris, who proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, was killed in action on Tuesday, November 14, 1944 in the Hurtgen Forest near Simonskall, Germany, and buried in the Netherlands. He was recently identified and is being brought home for a proper burial. Dewey served under Company C, 1st Battalion, 110 Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division.
