Honor Mission
Dewey James Whitener , Veteran
Milner, Georgia – 02-17-19

The family of Dewey James Whitener has asked to Patriot Guard Riders to come and stand in honor of their loved ones service to our country, and we humbly accept their invitation. Dewey joined the US Army Reserves, right out of high school, and served for three years, earning marksman badges on both the .30 cal rifle and the .30 cal carbine, and left the service as a Sergeant First Class. He spent most of his adult life as a truck driver, and loved to go camping and fishing with his 5 children. Dewey James Whitener stood for us, many years ago, but his service is not forgotten, and now it is our turn to stand for him.
