He served his country honorably and faithfully during the early years of the Vietnam War. He came home and started a career as a equipment mechanic and retired for Georgia-Pacific Corp in Crossett\, Ark. He was known as a guy who could fix anything. “Des” loved working on race cars and being able to coach softball for his grandchildren. His devotion to his family was only surpassed by his devotion to serving God. His family requested the Patriot Guard to stand for his service and we are honored to do so.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 06-25-19 \nStaging Time: 09:00  \nFirst United Pentecostal Church\n6178 US 165 North\nBastrop\, Louisiana 71220\n\n\nRide Captain: \nBuck “Ironrider” Harper\n 318-282-1899\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nFlags will be set at the church. We will stage and stand respectfully as family and friends gather for the 10am service. During service a brief riders meeting will take place.
