  3. Post Mission Report Dennis Michael Lyons
Thursday evening June 20 2019 with the threat of severe weather we had Six patriots stand a Silent Flag Line at the Woodstock Funeral Home. Reuben Baumgardner set up a Static Flag line out in front of the funeral home and provided us with hydration.
On a beautiful clear morning eight riders gathered at the Woodstock Funeral home. We rendered Honors for Mr Lyons before escorting him to his final resting place at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton where we were met by five more riders. We stood a silent Flag line while Military Honors were rendered by the U S Army Honors team. Mrs. Lyons requested that I read a poem that they found on Dennis’s computer called “The Final Inspection” I presented Mrs. Lyons with a Condolence card signed by all present; a Certificate of Honor from the American Legion and an Angel coin. The family was very appreciative that once again we were there to honor a member of their family.
I would like to thank everyone that came to Honor Mr Lyons service to our Nation. Special thanks to Reuben for flags and Hydration and to Pat Buchanan for printing the Certificate of Honor. It is an Honor to stand with all of you.
