About the mission:
Reverend Pressley served his country from 1969-72. He was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. The Patriot Guard Riders will be there to render Honor Dignity and Respect to for another victim of the Vietnam War. From the obituary, Dennis served in the US Army in Vietnam and became an ordained pastor in 1977. He began his ministry as a youth pastor of Bethel Tabernacle in Mt. Ephraim, pastor of the Gloucester Assembly of God in Gloucester, NY, the Newcomb Assembly of God in Newcomb, NY, and the Kitzmiller Assembly of God, in Kitzmiller, MD.
He became an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Albany in 1999 and served as a priest for the Adirondack Mission, as well as a chaplain at Albany Med, St. Peter’s, Glens Falls Hospital, and the Sisters of St. Mary in Greenwich.
He loved his family, sharing God’s Word, spending time in the Adirondack’s hiking the high peaks with his buddy Joseph Bickford, and his children. He touched many lives with his faith, his gentle calm spirit and his love for everyone. He will be greatly missed.
