ABOUT THE MISSION:

90 year old USMC SGT Delmar Albert Sanders served in Korea where he received the Korean Service Medal and a Purple Heart. He passed from this life on 18 April 2017.

The family has requested that the PGR provide a flag line at the Masonic Lodge in Tularosa, NM prior to his service, an escort to the Fairview Cemetery on 1st Street in Tularosa, and a flag line at the cemetery during his interment service.

The funeral home has requested that the PGR provide support to fold and present the American Flag to the family at the cemetery.

Special Instructions:
The funeral service will begin at 1000 hours at the Masonic Lodge, 411 Higuera Avenue in Tularosa, NM. The graveside service will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tularosa on Fairview Drive at about 1130 hours.

We will rally at the Kent Kwik Texaco Truck Stop, 3500 North White Sands Boulevard (across from Lowes) at 0845 hours, mission & safety briefing @ 0855 and KSU @ 0910. I’d like to have the Flag line up by 0930 at the Lodge.

All who are part of other groups, please forward this Email as appropriate.

NOTE: Since this is a second mission at the same time as another one, please call Jim “Deacon Jim” Ernst at 575-430-3904 if you plan an supporting this mission. This way we can assure that both missions are covered with sufficient personnel.
