Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to honor a fallen brother who served his country proudly.
Delbert W. Smith (Bill) age 80, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2016, in New Braunfels, TX. Born on July 13, 1935, in Sunbery, PA.
Bill enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country for 26 1/2 years. His Air Force service includes action in Korea and Vietnam with receiving numerous medals and honors. He will always be known as “Mr. Bill”.
Bill was a Life member of the VFW Post 4676, MOCA PT 55, and a member of The American Legion Post 667 of Universal City, TX. He was a Life Member of the AMVETS Post 14 and the Eagles 3245 in Clovis, NM. He chartered the IOOB in Universal City, TX.
