De Gaines, Veteran
USA – WWII
Big Flat, Arkansas – 07-23-21

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of PFC De Gaines,99, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his service to his country at a grave side service in Big Flat Cemetery on Friday, July 23, 2021. De Gaines served honorably in the United States Army from October 1942 until November 1945 when he was medically discharged. He served with the 86th Mt Infantry Regiment earning the WWII Victory Ribbon Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars, Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart.

Staging Time: 1:15 PM

Spring Creek Road (Hwy 135)
Big Flat, Arkansas

Special Instructions:

Staging and briefing at the Big Flat Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
Stand a flag line during visitation at 1:30 pm and grave side service beginning at 2:00 pm.
There is no building at Big Flat.
Cemetery is on Hwy135 just north of Hwy 14 intersection.
Cages welcome.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
