DESCRIPTION:HOTH Mission\nDawson County Hero Flight #5 Veteran\nUSA USN USAF – Korea\, Vietnam\nLexington\, Nebraska – 09-26-18\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLexington / Omaha / Washington D.C. – Vietnam & Korean War Veterans Hero Flight.\n\nThe Patriot Guard has been invited to stand a flag line and provide an escort for the Fifth Dawson County Hero Flight send-off of 5 Air Force\, 12 Army and 4 Navy Veterans.\n\nVietnam veterans make up the bulk of the crew\, accounting for 17 of the 21\, with an additional three Korean War Veterans.\n\nThe Veterans will travel by bus from Lexington to Omaha for their flight to Washington D.C.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 09-26-18 \nStaging Time: 10:45 am\n \nHeartland Museum of Military Vehicles\n606 Heartland RD (I-80 EXIT #237) Northeast corner of I-80 & HWY 283\nLexington\, Nebraska 68850\n\n\nRide Captain: \nJack Govier\njg06374@gmail.com\n308-320-1552\n\n\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nFlag Captain: Billy Rayburn 308-440-4645 \nRiders Meeting: 11:00 am\nFlag Line #1: 11:15 am – N12:00 pm\nMeal & Ceremony: 12:00 pm\nFlag Line #2: At the conclusion of the ceremony reassemble outside to flank the bus loading corridor.\nBus Departs: No later than 2:00 pm.\nEveryone is invited to cheer for our American Heroes as they board the bus. Motorcycle not need to participate in Patriot Guard Missions — Cages are always welcome.\nThere may be an opportunity to provide a motorcycle escort for the bus to or towards Omaha as they travel eastward on I-80. The Heroes will be spending the night in Omaha and leave the following morning.
