ABOUT THE MISSION:
Lexington / Omaha / Washington D.C. – Vietnam & Korean War Veterans Hero Flight.
The Patriot Guard has been invited to stand a flag line and provide an escort for the Fifth Dawson County Hero Flight send-off of 5 Air Force, 12 Army and 4 Navy Veterans.
Vietnam veterans make up the bulk of the crew, accounting for 17 of the 21, with an additional three Korean War Veterans.
The Veterans will travel by bus from Lexington to Omaha for their flight to Washington D.C.

Flag Line #2: At the conclusion of the ceremony reassemble outside to flank the bus loading corridor.

Everyone is invited to cheer for our American Heroes as they board the bus. Motorcycle not need to participate in Patriot Guard Missions — Cages are always welcome.
There may be an opportunity to provide a motorcycle escort for the bus to or towards Omaha as they travel eastward on I-80. The Heroes will be spending the night in Omaha and leave the following morning. Return is scheduled for late September 29.
