David Wayne Deckard, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of PFC David W. Deckard has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to stand a flag line at their loved one’s visitation at Holden Cremation and Funeral Services in Sparta, MO on Friday evening 1 March 19. There will be no service or escort and the family, while requesting the Patriot Guard Riders, has specifically declined military honors. Hero Deckard was a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Springfield and was a JROTC member and a Boy Scout before joining the US Army in 2009. He received an honorable discharge from the Army after a disabling injury during training. Hero Deckard is survived by his wife, a son, three step children, his mother, three sisters and several other relatives and friends.
