He served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1959 and was a crew member on submarine search planes. David was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. David loved hunting here and in Wisconsin and was active in the local Mustang Club. The Petty Officer was a National Rifle Association Life Member and climbed Mount Hood 3 times. His wife of 37 years will be in attendance.
