David O. White, Veteran

Mr. White stood for our country as a member of the United States Army. Now it is our turn to stand for him. David O. White, Sr 1944 – 2020 David O. White, Sr, 76, of Ashland, KY, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, at his home. Mr. White was born February 24, 1944 in Ashland to the late George (Sarah) White and Dycie Wheeler. He attended Ashland schools, served his country honorably in the US Army, worked for G4S Security and a contractor. His hobbies were his children and grandchildren. David is survived by his children, Amy Williamson, her husband Rod, of Ashland, KY, David O. White, Jr, his wife Nikki, of Ashland, KY, Michael White of Ashland, KY and Matt Elam, his wife Ashley, of Olive Hill, KY. Grandchildren, Katie Sammons, Sarah White, Emily Mabry, Abby Williamson. Chloe Williamson, Kyrah White, Abby Selters, Shannon Card, great grandchildren, Nevaeh Elam, Lexxus Elam, Benjamin Sammons, Lydia Sammons, Max Sammons, Conner Mabry, Weston Mabry, Ellie Salters and Norah Salters. Also surviving are brothers, Dan Tietz (Wendy) of Shelby, MI, George White (Janet) of Ponchatula, FL, Jimbo White (Sue) of Ashland, KY, Roscoe White (Tammy) of Hebron, KY, Eddie White (Connie) of Ashland, KY, Rudy Clark (Susie) of Peninsula, OH, sisters, Maggie Williams of Flatwoods, KY, Mary Ray (Danny) of Catlettsburg, KY, Peggy Stone of Ashland, KY, Betty York of Ashland, KY, and brother in law, Roger Lemaster of Ashland, KY. David was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Lemaster. A Celebration of Life for Mr. White will be at 12:30pm, Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home, 2702 Panola Street, Catlettsburg. David’s loved ones will share memories of his life. Final resting place in KY Veterans Cemetery North East.
