DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nDavid Marcus Hestand\, Retired\, PGR\n–\nAltus\, Oklahoma – 06-21-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe family of former law enforcement officer\, CMA officer and Patriot Guard member\, David Markus Hestand has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their fallen Hero. Mark was born October 2\, 1949 and passed from this life June 15\, 2019. Mark began his law enforcement career in 1969 and ended his career in 1989. Mark was a patrol officer in Jackson county in 1969 for 5 years. Meza\, Az. police dept. for 7 years. He was a motor officer and swat team sniper. Yavapai county sheriff’s office in Arizona 1982-1985 as an undercover narcotics officer. Pinetop-Lakeside police dept.- Arizona 1985-1989 – detective. Mark went on to serve in other government capacities including code enforcement. Active in the CMA since 2009 and a Patriot Guard member who made many missions in SW Oklahoma.
