ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by family to honor and escort their loved one, US Navy Veteran David Loyd Delany on his last ride to Bakersfield National Cemetery. We will honor this request and one son will be riding in the escort with us. FN Delany served his country proudly from 15 NOV 1955 until his honorable discharge on 15 AUG 1957. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Des Moines (CA-134) at Portsmouth, VA. Net service time was 1 yr. 09 months and 1 day and 1 yr. 5 months and 13 days in a foreign and/or sea service.
