ABOUT THE MISSION:

MSgt David Larry Garrett served from 1948 until 1968 with the US Marine Corps. He retired as a Mast Sergeant (E-8) and was an Office Manager at the MCRD on Paris Island, MC. He received the national Defense Service medal w/Bronze Service Star and the Good Conduct Medal w/5 Bronze Service Stars.

The PGR will stage at the church and, following a briefing, we will stand a flag line as family and friends arrive for the visitation/service. Once the service starts, flags will be returned to the support vehicle.
Riders not participating in the procession can, at their discretion, proceed directly to the National Cemetery for the interment. Riders participating in the procession will receive a safety briefing and honor bikes will be selected. All riders will be positioned for the trip to DFW National. Procession: Escort Provided

Riders will stage at the visitor center for a briefing. Honor bikes, if needed, will be selected and remaining riders will proceed to the assigned shelter and establish the flag line. Riders will stand tall and silent as the family and friends arrive at the shelter and throughout the service. At the conclusion of the service, riders will stow the flags, be debriefed and dismissed.
