ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of CPL (E-4) David Jackson, Jr., United States Marine Corps, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to escort and stand in his honor at Barrancas National Cemetery. CPL Jackson served honorably in the USMC for 2 years and 16 days, until the expiration of his enlistment period. David served in Vietnam, as a Machine Gunner. His awards and decorations include; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Combat Action Ribbon and Rifle Marksmanship Badge. David was honorably discharged from the USMC on 02-16-1971. Joe Morris Funeral Home, located at 701 De Villiers St., Pensacola, FL, is in charge of the arrangements. David’s funeral service will be held at 11:00, on Monday, 24 April 2017 at Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church, located at 201 West Leonard St., Pensacola, FL.
