ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand a flag line in honor of Mr. David Obernuefemann who proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Obernuefemann served in Northern France, Normandy, Adrennes, Central Europe and Rhineland. Entered the war on D-Day in Omaha Beach as a tanker, trained at Fort Knox and later became part of the 737 tank battalion under General Patton. He was one of the tankers who broke through enemy lines in the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, Belgium. Awarded 5 Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. It will be our honor to stand for him.

  1. Thank you for all the prayers we have received, and all the emails and text messages we have received from everyone around the world. David touch the hearts of many veterans and many people here at home and in his church, especially those when we were in France for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. David will truly be missed, we loved him very much.
