ABOUT THE MISSION:
David Vodika proudly served in the US Marines from 1953 until 1957, and in the Marine Corps Ready Reserves from 1957 to 1961. David was trained as an aviation fire mechanic and aircraft radar mechanic.He served a tour or duty in Korea during the Korean War, and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Medal and National Defense Service Medal. David continued to serve his community as a Deputy Sheriff with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department from 1960 until 1969, and was a member of American Legion Post 6 in Prescott, AZ. David recently passed at the age of 84.
