ABOUT THE MISSION:

Sergeant First Class (SFC) David Allen Scholl entered the US Army on May 4, 1987 and was medically discharged March 2, 2001. During his service in the Army, he served with Special Forces as a Special Forces Como Sergeant and Infantryman plus Operations and Intelligence assignments. He earned his Master Parachutist Wings and was a HALO Master. Additionally, he was an Expert in Automatic Rifle, Rifle, Pistol and Hand Grenades. He served in Iraq and Somalia where he earned his Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Meritorious Medal. While in Somalia, he was awarded a Joint Service Commendation, US Army/US Marine Corps.

After the Mission Brief, the riders will establish the flag line.
When directed, the riders will return the flags to the support vehicle.
RC Jeff Wike will conduct the procession safety briefing in preparation for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Riders not participating in the procession may proceed to the cemetery and assist with setting up the flag line.

Special Instructions:

Starting Time: 2:30pm
Prior to the riders briefing, up to four Honor Bikes will be selected, if needed, to accompany the family vehicle to Committal Shelter C or D.
After the riders briefing, the PGR will proceed to the designated shelter to establish the flag line and await the arrival of David Allen Scholl, his family and friends.
Upon conclusion of the Inurnment Service, the flags will be furled and returned to storage, followed by rider debrief and dismissal.
