Dataw Island Veterans Golf Classic

St Helena Island, South Carolina – 11-05-19

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have again been invited to participate in the parade and opening ceremony of the Dataw Island Veterans Golf Classic and patriotic Dataw Island Veterans March. The march will be led by a color guard and service flags as part of the opening ceremony for the Tee It Up For The Troops Golf Classic. This event is for Tee It Up For The Troops, Folds of Honor Foundation, DAV, Beaufort Memorial Hospital Adaptive Golf Program for wounded and disabled veterans and On Course Foundation which supports the recovery of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through golf.

It is 3.3 miles from the Exxon station to the club house. We must be at the guard shack no later than 0920 where an escort will pick us up. When the bikes reach the club house and park, we will stand a flag line at the flag pole. After the welcoming ceremony we will depart.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
