ABOUT THE MISSION:
Daryl Slusher was a US Army Major General Vietnam Veteran and Retired Fire Captain. Captain Slusher worked for the Fresno Fire Department from May 16, 1975 through June 19, 1996. He held the following positions: Firefighter May 16, 1975 to November 30, 1978. Firefighter Specialist December 1, 1978 to September 30, 1987. Fire Captain October 1, 1987 to June 19, 1996. He will be honored at Memorial and graveside services to include military honors.

My wife and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of this true American Hero, US Army (Ret), Viet Nam War Veteran, Fire Chief (Ret), Major General (MG) Daryl Slusher. We thank you for your service to a grateful nation, may your family find peace in knowing you served proudly and comfort in the months to come. May you rest in peace for your mission is now complete.
