The family and loved ones of Cpl. Darrel McCoy has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one with a flag line at his service followed by an escort and committal service at his final resting place.

Hero McCoy proudly and honorably served his country during the Korean War and received the Korean Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. After his service, our hero went to work for the Department of Army as a civilian personnel manager until his retirement in 1983. He also went on to be a successful farmer, raising feeder pigs and cattle. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, an avid gardener, and was a music enthusiast.
