DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nDaniel “Merlin” K. Laginess Jr.\, Veteran\, PGR\nUSAF –\nHolly\, Michigan – 06-06-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Family of Daniel K. Laginess Jr.\, age 64\, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his service to our Country. Danny was born 20 JUL 1954\, and died 28 May of this year. He was a graduate of Chadsey High School in Detroit. Danny joined the United States Air Force 15 DEC 1972\, and served four years to 14 DEC 1976. While in the Air Force\, Danny was a Security Force K-9 Handler\, and graduated from the Air Force Kennel Master School in SEP of 1975. Danny was the recipient of a number of Air Force Awards and Commendations\, and did one year and six months overseas\, serving in both Korea and Thailand. Danny was a caring man who spent his time as a volunteer firefighter\, and was a Deputy Sheriff’s Officer for the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Department. In addition\, Danny was an active and proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders\, and at one point was the Assistant State Captain. He was also a proud member of the Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans Organization\, and sat on the Board of Directors for a time as a Director. He was also a member of the Nozzleman Motorcycle Club.
