Daniel Benton Barker , Veteran

Private First Class Daniel Benton Barker was born October 21st, 1961 in Illinois and entered the United States Army in 1979. PFC Barker served honorably in the US Army for 2 years receiving a Parachute Badge, M16 Expert Badge and Expert Hand Grenade Badge. PFC Barker passed away on October, 14th 2019 in Richland County and an exhaustive investigation by the Richland County Coroner’s Office concluded that PFC Barker did not have any family that was able to provide final arrangements. The Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program stepped up to provide this Veteran with his final salute.

After the briefing, be prepared for KSU at 10:30 AM for the procession with LEO support to the National Cemetery. Please check your mounts if you have big flags to ensure they are safe for highway speeds up to 60 MPH.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
