Stokes\, Veteran\nUSAF – Vietnam\nDallas\, Texas – 06-21-19\n\n\n \n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nWe have been invited by the family of Dan Middleton Stokes to join them in honoring the life and military service of their loved one. Mr. Stokes passed away Monday\, June 10\, 2019 at the age of 78.  He was born December 29\, 1940 in Tulsa\, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Air Force where he attained rank of Captain and was a B-52 Pilot during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Stokes was a loving husband\, father\, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 06-21-19 \nStaging Time: 12:45 pm\n \nDFW National Cemetery\n2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy\nDallas\, Texas 75211\n\n\nRide Captain: \nWendy Ingersoll\ncalifbabe55@yahoo.com\n(817) 991-9021\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nInterment Service Staging Time 12:45 pm\nBriefing Time 1:00 pm\nIn Position/KSU Time 1:15 pm\nStarting Time 1:30 pm\nWe may be asked to step in as pallbearers\, but will not know until just before the mission.\nWe will stage at the Visitor’s Center where the mission brief will be given. The honor bikes will be selected and relocated to the designated staging lane\, the remaining riders will proceed on to the assigned shelter to place the flags and prepare for the arrival of the procession bringing Mr. Stokes\, his family and guests.\nAt the conclusion of the committal service\, and at the direction of the ride captain\, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage where they will be furled and stowed.
