SUMMARY:Dale Eugene Gerard
DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nDale Eugene Gerard\, Veteran\nUSA – Korea\nMaple Valley\, Washington – 08-20-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been invited by the family of Dale Eugene Gerard to stand a flag line and welcome guests to Dale’s memorial service. Cpl. Gerard enlisted in 1952 in the U.S. Army when his country called to defend South Korea. He served honorably till 1954. His service record was destroyed in a fire in 1973 and the family has no knowledge of any awards or decorations. Family tradition says he was involved in special operations. He returned to his home in Seattle to take care of his mother and younger brothers. He was the 2nd of 4 boys\, born in Seattle and raised in the Renton area. He had a life long love of cars\, fishing and hunting. After many years working at PACCAR and Boeing he retired in the early 90s and relocated to Alaska to more fully appreciate his love of the outdoors. He was very active his entire life in his church\, and was an ordained minister. He returned in his final years to Seattle\, where he passed on the 4th of August. While he was a life long confirmed bachelor\, he was very involved with his extended family and will be missed greatly. Let’s stand with family and friends in honor of this American Hero.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 08-20-19 \nStaging Time: 09:45 AM\n \nMcDonald’s\n23225 Maple Valley/Black Diamond Rd.
