Dale served in Vietnam from January, 1968 to February, 1970, with Co A, 4/9th Inf, 25th Inf Div, USARV.   He earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Two Air Medals, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Overseas Bar.

Special Instructions:

Riders will stage at the funeral home to be briefed about our hero and participate in a safety briefing.  Honor bikes will be selected to enter the staging lanes when arriving at DFW.  The remaining riders in the procession will continue on to the assigned committal shelter to join other riders and await the arrival of the procession Part One is a procession only, there is no flag line for this part.

Special Instructions:

After the briefing, riders will proceed to the assigned committal shelter, set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.  Riders will stand tall and silent during the inurnment service.  After the service, the flags will be returned to the storage locker and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
[NOTE: Water support had yet to be arranged when this Mission was submitted. Bring your own water as a precaution – the website’s calendar MAY have an update before the Mission.]
