Capt. Cyril D. Maynard served in the United States Army Air Forces and the United States Air Force and retired October 31, 1963, with over 20 years of service. He was awarded the Army Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, American Theater Campaign Medal, European, African & Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Army Occupation Medal, National Defense Medal, and was rated as a Senior Navigator. The Patriot Guard will escort Capt. Maynard from Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6305 N. Blue Angel Parkway, Pensacola to Barrancas National Cemetery and will stand a Flag Line at both locations.

Covis19 precautions will be observed per PGR National, including the mandatory donning of face masks throughout the mission, social distancing of 6 feet & 20 feet from the family and the use of hand sanitizer.
