Chief Palmer faithfully served his Country in the U.S. Air Force. \nChief Palmer served our Grateful Nation for 20 plus years prior to his retirement in 1970.  Upon leaving the service\, Chief Palmer received an Honorable Discharge and awarded (partial list) an Air Force Commendation Medal\, Army of Occupation Medal\, National Defense Service medal\, Air Force longevity Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster and a United Nations Service Ribbon.  No additional military related information is available at this time. \nDuring Chief Palmer’s post military service\, he served his community as a counselor for AA. \nThis mission is a follow-on mission from a PGR mission in Montgomery\, AL.  Upon completion of Chief Palmer’s service in Alabama\, he was transported to Central Florida to be laid to rest in Eternal Peace. \nFor awareness\, Chief Palmer’s wife is also retired U.S. Air Force. \nNote: This is a two-part mission. \nPart 1 is an escort only (approximately 4 miles) from the Funeral Home in Winter Garden to the cemetery in Ocoee. \nPart 2 is a Committal Service in Ocoee. \nPlease bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for our U.S. Air Force Hero and his family. \nFlag Bikes are strongly encouraged. \nPlease hydrate \nItinerary: \nPart 1 – Escort Only \nBaldwin Fairchild Funeral Home\n428 E.
