Curt honorably and proudly served his country in Company B; 1st Battalion; 2nd Infantry; 1st Infantry Division; 5th US Army in Fort Riley\, Kansas with combat service in Vietnam. \nHis many Awards and Medals include the NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL; FIRST CLASS (Grenade) BADGE; VIETNAM SERVICE MEDAL; COMBAT INFANTRY BADGE; ARMY COMMENDATION MEDAL; AIR MEDAL w/Oak Leaf Cluster; SHARPSHOOTER BADGE (M-14 Rifle) and EXPERT BADGE (M-16 Rifle and M-60 Machine Gun). \nIn honor of Curt’s dedicated service\, US Flags will be mounted at E.E. PICKLE FUNERAL HOME; 500 3rd Ave. S.; Amory\, MS 38821 for visitation on Saturday 28 Januray 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. \nPRIMARY STAGING FOR CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: Sunday 29 January 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home\, after the Mission briefing\, the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line until the beginning of the celebration of life service at 2:00 PM. \nESCORT: Immediately following the service\, the PGR will escort Curt to RIGGAN CEMETERY located near Greenwood Springs\, MS 38848 and provide a silent US Flag line for the graveside service. \n\nNOTES: The escort distance is approximately 20 miles\, large motorcycle mounted US Flags are encouraged.\nPlease join with us as we STAND FOR ONE WHO STOOD FOR US ! \nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 29 Jan 2017 \n \nPrimary Staging Time: 1:00 P.M.\n\nE.E.
