ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of Curt A. Newsome has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one as He stood for us. We are honored to do so. Mr. Newsome retired from the Fire Department after 29 years as a Fireman with the Savannah River Site Fire Department.

At 8:00pm we will stand down and quietly leave the area.

  1. My wife and I offer our heartfelt condolences from Grovetown, GA to the family and friends of this hero. Thank you for your service and may you forever rest in peace, you will not be forgotten. You may stand down your mission here is complete, we now have the watch.

  2. There are many people we meet in life, some do great deeds, but of all that can proudly be called a hero, there is none greater than the man or woman who serves their country. Miz Alice and I have the deepest sympathy for your loss, and gratitude for his/her service to our country.
