Honor Mission
Cruz Vasquez, Veteran

The Patriot Guard Riders will escort and stand in honor of SN Vasquez as he is laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery.  SN Vasquez was born 2 May 1940 and passed from this earth on 5 Sept 202. He was 81 years old at the time of his passing. SN Vasquez proudly served his country from 5 Feb 1958 thru 8 March 1961 and was a Seaman onboard the U.S.S. Newport News (CA-148).
1:45 PM – Staging Time:

2:00 PM – Safety briefing for all riders
2:15 PM – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
2:30 PM – Honors Site “B”

Special Instructions:

NAS Pensacola requires that long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection be worn at all times while riding on board NAS Pensacola.
Due to recent outbreaks of COVID-19, partial or non-vaccinated members are required to wear face coverings while outdoors and all members are required to wear a mask while indoors at funeral homes, chapels, and all government buildings. Also maintain a 6-foot social distance both indoors and outdoors.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

    Please accept my sincere condolences.

    It is my honor and privilege to stand with families of and for those who dared stand where many feared to tread. Your loss is immeasurable but it will mark again the strength and fortitude of the families who raised and supported our heroes, our disciplined, our courageous, among whom you are included and so often overlooked, even abandoned.
    Thank you for your fortitude and sacrifices. We are thusly forever bonded.
