Honor Mission
Craig Scott Maddy, Veteran
Maple Valley, Washington – 02-05-19

We have been invited by the mother of USMC Corporal Craig Maddy to respectfully stand during his final military honors. Craig joined the Marines after graduating HS and served for almost 4 years. Cpl Maddy had just returned from an extended tour in AFG when he was out with some friends from the base and they were fired upon by strangers. Craig was grievously wounded at that time and spent several months in hospital with lots of therapy. According to Craig’s mother he was the All-American boy. In addition to playing the guitar, Craig was always active in sports; rollerblading, playing soccer, football and Lettered in baseball in high school. Cpl Maddy’s awards include the Combat Action Ribbon (Afghanistan), Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (W/1 Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2), NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan, and Expert Rifle Qualification Badge.Please let’s support this family as they say their good-byes.
