CAPTAIN ANTONIO D. BROWN

The family and fellow members of United States Army reserve Captain Antonio Davon Brown’s unit have graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in Honor and silent respect at his final services, to be held Saturday, June 18th in Melbourne, Florida, Followed by an escort to the cemetery in Rockledge for interment.

Captain Brown was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 383 regiment, 4th Cavalry brigade, 85th support Command.

After college, Captain Brown served from 2008 until present. His current command was he 3-383rd, 85th support Command.

Captain Brown spent 11 months in Kuwait.

His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2), National Defense service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces reserve Medal with M Device, and the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (2)

Captain Brown was one of 49, tragically cut down in the horrific terrorist attack in Orlando last Saturday night.

This will be a two part mission:

Part one:

Services will be held at the New Shiloh Christian Center, 3900 Sarno Rd., Melbourne, Florida. Saturday, June 18, 2016

Flag line: as directed

Part 2:

Immediately following the services, we will participate in escorting Captain Brown and his family to the Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5950 U.S. 1, Rockledge, Florida. (this is approximately a 20 mile procession)

Once at the cemetery, we will again set a flag line for the committal service.
